Contest: Stephen King’s ‘Doctor Sleep’

With his newest novel Doctor Sleep, bestselling author Stephen King has created a worthy sequel to his 1977 horror classic The Shining. The story continues with the now adult Dan Torrance, son of John Daniel “Jack” Torrance (made famous by Jack Nicholson’s portrayal of the character in Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining), struggling with the ghosts from the Overlook Hotel who still haunt him, along with the inner demons he inherited from his father in the form of a raging alcohol problem and anger management issues. Doctor Sleep is a story about Dan’s coming to terms with “the shining” that he has inherited.
